MANOKWARI – MATOA stands for Mari Torang Ajar or Let’s Teach! Since not all elementary schools in Manokwari provides English classes for the students, Siriwai Kuwai (IPY 2016) and the West Papua International Youth Exchange Alumni Association (PCMI Papua Barat) volunteered in teaching English in SD YPPGI 03 Korothis in Fanindi from September 2018 to March 2019. About 30 students benefited from the project
Given the positive impact resulted from this project, the school has agreed to explore possibility in signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to continue this project for the next three years.
